Things that would make me feel better:
-a cat
-if I went to more museums
-if I saw more movies
-if I read more books
-if I wrote more poems
-if I slept

I'm trying to be okay with having very few of these things.

feeling awful

many of these photos were sent in an e-mail to me from my cousin
they gave me quite a laugh

I hope none of you are feeling awful today (but only if you don't want to be feeling awful).

I have one last class and tomorrow and then I get to go home. I'm only excited because I get to watch all the shows I've missed and sleep in my bed. I've got loads of work to do and even larger loads to come (I can't think about that now or else I will make myself very anxious). I don't want to do any of it.

seekir

I walked to Tim's earlier this morning (it's literally a 2 min walk from my res) and got a coffee because the coffee isn't any good in the caf here. If you're not familiar with Tim Horton's, let me tell you that it is a very popular Canadian coffee chain. People go crazy for their Tim's coffee where I live.

I walked back, had raisin toast and jam for breakfast (my aunt had given me a jar of her homemade blackberry jam which was fantastic), as well as Greek yogurt and an orange. The oranges are lovely here.

We are supposed to be having Frosh Week so that I can get to know the people here. I've met many in my all-girls res. They are all very nice and I've made a few friends, but instead of getting to know the people in my school, I've gotten to know the city which I think is much more important.

I've walked through some parks and read my book on their benches. I've walk past cafes and shops. I've walk through campus and admired the beautiful old buildings. I've walked past museums and through gardens. It's very nice here.

I probably won't be posting much after this week because school will begin and things will be hectic but I'll try as much as possible and maybe the next post I'll make I'll have something interesting to say.
