i don't mean trouble, please don't put me down or get upset

I am in love with this song which was originally performed by Bob Dylan in the early 60s. The covers of this song are so beautiful that I cannot decide which I adore most.

not a dog person

I am not a 'dog person'. I learned this shortly after I got my first dog. I mean, I like him and everything and walk him and feed him and acknowledge him (he's a family dog so I'm not the only one who cares for him) and I wouldn't give him up ever and would be sad if he died and all, but I don't love him. I feel like this makes me a horrible person.

I should have known long ago my dislike for dogs. Not even dislike—because I really, really wanted one before I first got one and they are okay as a species in general—but indifference. I should have known because years ago I had Nintendogs on my DS; I would purchase a dog, name it, teach it a few tricks, take it on some walks, play with it a bit... and then I would return it to the Pound. And I don't know if you've ever returned a Nintendog to the Pound but you should see it: The dog you're giving up makes this sad face and whimpers and the game asks you 'Are You Sure?' like, six times.

Anyways, whenever I gave up a dog and the dog got all sad and whimpered I would feel nothing. Horrible I tell you! I am horrible! I would just go get another dog of another breed because I liked trying them out and naming them rather than keeping them.

I can't tolerate most dogs because they breathe too loud and smell bad most of the time and slobber and shed and won't poop in a litter box. I don't hate your dog. I don't hate any dog. I hate puppy mills and strongly disagree with those who believe all Pitbulls are evil. I just don't prefer them as a pet for myself.

Ya know?

I like cats and am waiting for my second year of Uni to get one of my own. And this is not like the time when I wanted to get a dog (I also went through a phase where I deeply desired to own a guinea pig and later on it changed to a hedgehog... thank God my parents wouldn't let me get either... I would have been the most neglectful and lazy Mama to them) because I've had a cat before and I loved her very much and she isn't with us any more but she is still very dear to my heart. Cats are just easy. They are low-maintenanced. They are hilarious and sassy...

777

Once I went to Chapters and was with my cousin and she bought the following:
Naked Lunch
Lord of the Flies
and Teen Vogue
The man at the cash register commented on the particular combination.

Right now I am:
reading Vogue
painting my nails
and listening to George Harrison
This reminded me of that time.
